Adding Tasks to Projects

Enhance project structure by seamlessly incorporating tasks into designated projects with these steps:

  1. Navigate to the project for which you want to add tasks.
  2. Click on the task button in the project detail page.
  3. Initiate the task creation process within the project by clicking on “+” icon to create new task inside the task screen.
  4. Fill Task Details, specify task title, Priority, set start and due dates, estimation hours, assign team members and provide additional details as necessary.
  5. Confirm the task details and save by clicking on create button, seamlessly integrating it into the project.

Adding Sub-tasks to Projects

Enhance project structure by seamlessly incorporating tasks into designated projects with these steps:

  1. Navigate to the project for which you want to add sub-tasks.
  2. Click on the task button in the project detail page.
  3. Initiate the task creation process within the project by clicking on “+” icon to create new sub-task inside the task screen.
  4. Fill Task Details, specify task title, Priority, set start and due dates, estimation hours, assign team members, add a parent task under which this sub-task will be visible and provide additional details as necessary.
  5. Confirm the task details and save by clicking on create button, seamlessly integrating it into the project.

Editing Task Details

Adapt to evolving project requirements with ease. Edit and fine-tune task specifics as needed, ensuring flexibility and responsiveness to dynamic project scenarios. This feature facilitates precision in project management and task execution.

For Tasks:

  1. Navigate to the task you want to edit within the project.
  2. Initiate the task editing process by clicking on the “Edit task” icon for the existing task.
  3. Modify Task Details, adjust task title, assigned team members, due dates, or any relevant details.
  4. Confirm the modifications and save the updated task details by clicking on “Update” button.

Allocate Assignees:

Efficiently manage work distribution by assigning team members to specific Projects and tasks. Follow these steps to allocate assignees:

  1. Navigate to the project for which you want to assign team members.
  2. In the project detail page, click on “edit” icon and add the team member’s name in the Employee field and click on Update button.
  3. Click on the “Employee” list to select team members from the available list.
  4. Click on the Update button and save the changes to confirm the assignment of team members to the Project.
  5. Navigate to the task within the project for which you want to assign team members.
  6. In the task details page, click on “edit” icon.
  7. Click on the “Assign To” list to select team members from the available list.
  8. Click on the Update button and save the changes to confirm the assignment of team members to the task.

Add Timelines and Estimates:

Accurately plan and track project progress by setting timelines and estimates for tasks. Here’s how you can add these details:

  1. Navigate to the task or sub-task within the project.
  2. In the task details page, click on “edit” icon.
  3. Set the “Start Date” and “Due Date” for the task to establish a clear timeline.
  4. Specify the “Estimation Hours” required for task completion.
  5. Click on the Update button and save the changes to incorporate the timelines and estimates into the task details.
